I was blown away with all the information and food ideas from last evening. I have been to many cooking classes in my lifetime and can’t believe the content and amount of cooking you do to put on this class. You girls are the best! I wish I could go home to dinner with each of you.

I am thankful for copies and access to recipes to simply jog my memory. There is so much information that it is impossible to get it all. What ever you can write down for us is so appreciated. I had a great time and was tickled to learn everything that I did. It is all so exciting for me to have the opportunity to learn so many things and get product ideas.

What a wonderful ministry! You have inspired and equipped me as a homemaker to spread joy to my family and friends by what I can do from my kitchen. It makes my days easier.

The note below is from the Ministry leader to those participating and I imagine it will bring a smile to your face … perhaps you’d like to join them!

Dear Fellow Artists,

I just took the last bite of my favorite meal on this entire earth - a white castle with jalapeno pepper cheese. Oh my - I sure hope we have sliders at the banquet table in heaven! In case we don’t, I better keep eating them down here (and if there are cream-filled crispy creme donuts for dessert - well, it would be hard to find a better last meal).

Anyway, we had a sweet time of fellowship and prayer last night at our gathering. We missed those of you who could not attend, but we prayed for you as well. L. is able to come again, and it is so good to have her back. We worked on our project, and all realize that it is not an overnight thing. It will take time on our own as well as time together when we begin piecing it together. Just keep plugging away, and if anyone gets stuck or needs help getting started, just drop me a line or a call and we will connect.

We discussed some ideas for getting together over the next couple of months, so check your calendars and see what you might be interested in.

Some prayer requests to keep on your minds and hearts from Monday night:

L. is going on vacation the week of Oct. 14 and is selling her time share. She prays the money will arrive in time to take on vacation and also that it is not a scam. And please pray for safe travel as well. She also asks prayer for her son, that his heart will soften and he will open himself up to God.

One of our ladies would like prayer for her son’s attitude toward his bosses and co-workers, and others in general, and that he would develop a teachable heart.

T. asks for prayer for her brother, that God will direct his path, and that he will continue to seek God’s direction for life and spiritual growth. Pray for T. as she encourages him, and that he will have the help and strong support system needed to get situated in a new location. And please pray for T. as she looks into a possible new job interview.

Please pray for J.’s daughter and her boyfriend, their relationship and his life circumstances as well. Pray for healing for J.’s brother-in-law, who broke his lower arm in 4 places and recently had surgery puttingin a plate and several screws. Also, please pray for J.s neice, who recently assisted in trying to save people in a fatal car accident that she missed being in by a matter of 1 or 2 seconds (she was the car behind the fatality).

We know our Father knows ALL of our needs and requests, spoken and unspoken, and trust Him to work out His will and glory in each situation.

Have a great week, dear sisters and friends, and also remember to pray for those who will receive the prayer shawls we work on. Even though we do not know their names and circumstances, God does, and so we are blessed to be used to bless!

Knitted Together in Christ,

Faithful, Abundant, True: Join Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer in a women’s Bible study recorded live at the Orlando Deeper Still conference.

Kay Arthur teaches from the book of Hebrews on God’s faithfulness and challenges believers to be faithful in difficult times.

Priscilla Shirer teaches from Ephesians 3:20-21 on God’s abundance and ability that empowers our faithfulness.

Beth Moore teaches how essential it is that we learn to trust the Holy Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false.

While these three women each address the distinctive topic the Holy Spirit had lead them to teach, the messages result in a marvelous blend. Kay challenges us to faithfulness in difficult days. Priscilla points to the essential of trust in God’s ability, and Beth teaches on how to discern truth from error in these difficult days.

The Member Book provides two weeks of study by each teacher in a brief format that will take most women 15 to 30 minutes daily.

And today rather than thinking ahead to what’s next I sense a whisper, a call, to be quiet and still, to remember and appreciate what God did in us and through us, to savor and ponder the minute and miraculous.

I felt an eyewitness to the power of His presence in ones who offered all they had to be used for His glory. I saw His strength lived out when the flesh was worn out, His kindness evident in the midst of frustration, His wisdom in uncertainty, His dedication when no one was watching, His peace in commotion, His generosity in busy schedules, His patience and peace in frazzlement (spell check says that is not a word, but I’m pretty sure it is) and His joy in our journey together.

I want to say a warm and heart-felt thank you to everyone who had a part in preparing for our Christmas Dessert and allowing me a glimpse of the Devine. You wonderfully demonstrated the care and creativity of Jesus through every touch at our tables and to our guests. Thank you for the many ways you were flexible and full of grace in the process of planning and preparing, throughout the evening and all the way through clean up. Thank you to those who through testimony, word, dance, song and support gave of themselves for the sake of the Gospel. I trust the Truth will continues the good work it was sent forth to accomplish. For the many tangible expressions of Jesus’ kindness and love … and the bright light you all are in the places He called you to shine, THANK YOU!!

Celebrate with me some of what God did in our time together!!

Over 300 women made there way out through the cold and snow to join us and hear the story of Jesus.

3 ladies marked their response card that they were stepping to follow Jesus for the first time!!!!!

72 committed to a ready yes and responding, “I am the Lord’s servant” in 2011.

Over 100 volunteers gave of their time and energy to serve for the glory of God

Just over $2,000 was collected and donated to the Bloom House

What a joy to hear how the Holy Spirit touched lives and hearts for the sake of the Kingdom!!!! I don’t know that there is such a thing as small miracles, anytime the Devine moves on the human heart seems to be cause for awe and wonder and rejoicing!

When they had seen Him (Jesus), they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Luke 2:17-20

May the fullness of His Presence saturate your days!

With love and gratitude ~

Merry Christmas

Thank you so much for attending our Women’s Fall Event: Held Secure ~ Walking with Jesus in our Circumstances.

I trust that you were blessed by the conference this weekend and that you are continuing to experience the riches of God’s Word being shared with such passion, encouragement and confidence. Let me encourage you to keep your outline handy and available for review often. Take up the challenge from Proverbs 4:20 - 23 to hide God’s word in your heart, “My daughter, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to My words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to your body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” We saw a living breathing example of this, did we not! One of the things I so love about Tammy’s outline is all the Scripture right at our fingertips. It’s a tremendous resource! Use it and remember obedience is AWESOME!

I hope you are taking your questions to God whose love for you is unconditional, irrevocable and beyond human comprehension.

I hope you are alert and engaged in the spiritual battle today, crossing out lies and living in the Truth.

I hope you are on a God hunt, seeing with eyes of faith, confident that He is with you holding you secure.

God’s Grace and Peace for you this day in the Mighty Name of Jesus ~

prayerfully and lovingly,
