Please note that all financial gifts to Heritage Christian Church received or post marked prior to December 31, 2008 will be included on the annual contribution statements for tax year 2008. Annual contribution statements will be mailed by January 31, 2009. Use a STEPS card to update any mailing address changes.

As followers of Christ, we realize that we have been bought with the price of Christ’s blood and that everything we are and have belongs to Him. Your gifts to Heritage Christian Church are treated confidentially, and we view each and every one as a sacrificial gift to furthering the ministry of the church, here and around the world. Your regular tithes and offerings are used to support the operating budget of Heritage Christian Church which includes giving to missions.

From time to time, we will inform you of giving opportunities to financially support specific needs. During the Christmas season, there are opportunities to help families within our church and around the world who are struggling this year. So far, you have supported Operation Christmas Child by filling shoeboxes, fulfilled gift wishes from the Giving Tree, and given financially toward the Seasonal Giving Fund. It is truly a joy to help others, especially during the holiday season.

In addition, there are other specific needs that you can financially support:

we would like to have at least one bike rack available for our staff and attenders who are “going green” and cycling to church in lieu of driving a vehicle
the church-owned house on the property still has the original windows and many are in need of replacement which would conserve valuable energy and provide a “less drafty” home for our residents

If you are led to help financially with these inititatives, please clearly mark your gift accordingly.
