At Heritage, we want every Christ-follower to understand, develop and express their unique, God-shaped design in service to others. Ministry to others is a dynamic means of (1) personally experiencing the power and favor of God in our lives, (2) building up the body of Christ, and (3) demonstrating to the world the impact of a transformed and yielded life.

The SHAPE Assessment is a great tool to help guide you in discovering how your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences (SHAPE) in life can be used by God to mold you for service. Care Ministry

Hot Meals
Show God’s love and care by providing a simple meal for a family in need. 

Tender Hearts Ministry
Be a part of this ministry to pray and/or make hospital visits when the occasion arises.

Funeral Team
Set up and/or tear down volunteers are needed for funeral services. 

Worship Arts Ministry

Deaf Ministry
Looking for people interested in being a part of a team that provides ministry to the deaf community during our weekend services.

Singers
Worship Arts Ministry is looking for singers for the Mosaic Choir (multi-generational/gospel) and the new Cornerstone Choir (adults/choral). Come join the choir community! 

Media Arts Team    
Looking for people to serve behind the scenes in the area of audio and video. No experience necessary, will train for Saturday or Sunday services. Come join the fun!

Communion Prep Team 
Help is needed to prepare for and clean up from communion at weekend services. A great opportunity to serve as a life group or individually.  

 Women’s Ministry

Childcare Providers    
Provide a safe and loving atmosphere for children when theirparents take classes on Tuesday nights and Thursday mornings. Background check required.

Childcare Coordinator    
A volunteer is needed to coordinate childcare workers for the Tuesday and Wednesday evening and Thursday morning women’s small group studies. 

Coffee Hospitality for Women’s Bible Studies    
Serve the women at Heritage by making coffee for the Thursday morning Bible studies. Training provided. 

Children’s Ministry

Heritage Kids    
Elementary and Pre-school volunteers are needed in the classrooms for all services. Consider helping with Kids Kiosk & Door Security workers for the 5pm Saturday services.

DivorceCare for Kids Co-facilitator and Helper
A co-facilitator and helper are needed to assist in bringing healing to children of divorced families. This nationally known Christ-centered ministry is offered at the same time as DivorceCare.

Children’s Classroom Housekeeper
Light cleaning and organizing children’s rooms once a month. 

Horizon’s Special Needs Classroom Volunteers
Looking for people willing to serve our special needs children at the 11:00 service on Sunday mornings.

Equipping Ministry

Alpha Course Meal Preparation
Try your hand at preparing a meal for those who attend our Alpha Course that meet on Tuesday evenings.

Welcome Team

Join the weekend “Welcome” team - many opportunities to bless others! Ushers, Greeters, Parking Attendants, Coffee and Bread Delivery to newcomers. A great opportunity for a life group to serve together! 

Ushers
Be a blessing by ushering at our weekend services. Sunday at 11am and Saturday at 5pm are the most needed times. Training is provided.  Background checks required.

Greeters
Greet those who attend our weekend services with a smile and the welcoming spirit of Christ. Help is needed at all service times.

Bread Team 
Help deliver bread to first time Heritage visitors. Be a part of this exciting opportunity to welcome our guests! 

Weekend Coffee Team
Join with others in offering hospitality at our weekend services. Help with coffee preparation and cleanup.  Participate as a life group or on an individual basis.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer Chain
Be involved in the Heritage prayer chain and receive prayer requests via email.

Family Life

Wedding Coordinator
Would you enjoy helping to coordinate the weddings we conduct at Heritage? We will train you for this special position. 

Operations

Photographers
Join the team that captures the heart of Heritage through photography! Guidance provided. 

Administrative Volunteer
Assist with special projects and administrative tasks at the church office during office hours.

Welcome Desk Workers
Individuals are needed to help at the Welcome Desk during the facility’s hours of operation (9am-9pm). Various shifts are available and training will be provided.

Local Missions

Election Day Hospitatality Coordinator and Volunteers ~ Coming up on March 6

A coordinator and volunteers are needed to help welcome the voters that come to our building on election days. Light snacks are prepared and served. Come and support our efforts on March 6. 

Better Way ~ Next Opportunity: February 10  
Life groups or individuals are needed to prepare and serve meals to the poor the second Friday of each month. After the meal the volunteers will lead a time of spiritual community through singing and testimony.

Sterling House Nursing Home ~ Next Opportunity: February 12 
Individuals are needed to visit the elderly on the second and third Sunday of each month. 

YWCA Family Shelter Breakfast ~ Next Opportunity: February 18  
Individuals are needed to help serve breakfast to those in home crisis on the third Saturday of every month. 

WARM 
Westerville Area Resource Ministry is looking for adult mentors and coaches to assist clients with goal setting and skills development. Summer help is most needed.
