Happy 2009! Did you know that in January, we normally see 200-300 first-time attenders come to check out Heritage? We want to do everything we can to make room for them to also encounter God in this place. This is a challenge on Sunday mornings because our parking lot and auditorium are usually at capacity!

What can you do to help? You might consider switching to one of the Saturday night services. If you can’t do that, you can still have a “missions” impact by taking the Heritage shuttle from Westerville Central High School. As a “shuttle missionary,” you create space in the Heritage parking lot for first-time guests — a wonderful step of hospitality. What a loss if a guest trolls through the parking lot and then returns home, unable to find a space! By taking the shuttle, you make room for one more to be touched by God through the worship service on Sundays.

The shuttle runs continuously Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thanks for your help!

Equipping Classes for the Winter Session begin this weekend. We are excited to offer two courses, open to everyone in the church. The first course is Galatians: The Letter that Changed the World. The Galatians course will meet on Saturdays at 5:00pm in room 101. The second course is Cheating on God: The Warning of Hosea. The Hosea course will meet on Sundays at 9:00am, also in room 101. Both courses will run for seven weeks. 

We are pleased to offer these courses free of charge, reading requirements, and homework. We only ask that you come ready to engage with the material and with one another. Our hope is that these courses will be not just informational, but transformational.
