Brief Overview of the Night
Harlend – The night kicked off with an amazing concert performed by Harlend (harlendband.com). At one point they had every voice in the room, young and old, signing praises to God.
Message - Afterwards, a brief message was delivered about the goodness of Jesus. Scripture focus: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” -John 8:12 (NIV)
Fun – There was plenty of fun for the students to have throughout the night. The experience included: three giant inflatable’s, Xbox tournament, video games, SPA for the girls, dodge-ball tournament, and knock-out.
Food – To name a few of the items on the menu: pizza, cookies, nachos and cheese, veggie trays, donuts, ice-cream sandwiches, and chips.
Fellowship – This was priceless. It was great to see students and volunteers connect one another. All night people were laughing, telling funny stories, sharing memories and having a great time.
Thanks to all who helped volunteer. You did a fantastic job. Thanks to all the students who attended. You made the night worthwhile. And thanks to Jesus. You made all this possible.
