Come With Me (stories of faith)

As we continue with our theme of The Divine Conversation, we will hear, read, study and meditate on the stories of many who responded to God’s call.  Through these stories, it is our hope that we will relate and hear our own story.  The Lenten Devotionals will guide us on a personal, daily journey as we study these passages and take the opportunity to discuss with others in our small groups.  Available for free at the Lent table in the atrium.

Feb 13/14 we will kick off the series as we welcome Scot McKnight, a nationally recognized author and speaker.  Scot will bring us insights into the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

Ash Wednesday service will be at 7pm, Wednesday, Feb 17.  This is the official beginning of Lent (the 40 days prior to Easter).  There will be personal reflective stations open throughout the building from 6-9pm.

The Lenten weekend teaching series, Come With Me, will expose us to stories from the past and we will hear present-day testimonies as well.

Discovering Heritage Luncheon - Sun, Feb 21

Join us for the quarterly Discovering Heritage Luncheon Sunday, February 21, right after the 11am service, Room 230 in the Children’s Wing.  Whether you are new to Heritage, or still feel new, the “DHL” is a great chance to meet the staff and other newcomers, hear about the history and values of Heritage from Lead Pastor Jim Zippay, and ask the questions about Heritage doctrine and practices that are important to you. Past attenders have repeatedly indicated that their time has been well spent, and has been especially valuable in helping them decide if Heritage is indeed the place they are supposed to make their church home.

Lunch is provided, as is children’s programming for elementary age and below. Please click here to register online* or call Holly Fissel at 898-9412, ext 230.
