High School Ministry - Events & Activities

Although not all activities require registration, it does help us plan for materials, food, space, etc.  If you are planning to attend any of the events/activities below, please click on the highlighted event name. If you do not already have a weblink account, you will be asked to create one for future web registrations. Practicals for Parenting Teens Group* - Sundays (during Elevate) 7-8:30pm, Room 210 beginning September 25, 2011

This group is open to all MS and HS parents and will be facilitated by Tina and Alan Muench. It will go through different topics and curriculum to help equip you as parents of teenagers and will give parents a chance to pray for one another.

ELEVATE* - Sundays (except 2nd Sundays), 7-8:30pm, Main Auditorium 

Elevate is geared towards creating a welcoming environment where students can meet Christ and grow in their faith in Christ. The format will have the DNA of the former CrossTrainers gathering with fun skits/games, music, challenging teachings relevant for both believer and non-believer, and a relaxed hang out atmosphere afterwards.

We want to create a culture among students where serving others is expected and the norm. Serving is essential to our faith. We will cancel Elevate every second weekend of the month to go serve. In a culture that glorifies self, we want students to learn to be selfless as Christ was selfless for us. 

2012 Camp Living Stones, July 23-28th, Etowah, Tennessee

This will be the first year we are inviting students who are currently in 8th-12th grade to their own week of camp. A week at Camp Living Stones is full of rock climbing, ropes courses, serving in the community, swimming in the river and white water rafting! We will spend every night in worship, teaching and small group time! Total cost is $375.

Registration is mandatory and spots will fill up quickly. Registration begins February 1st and will close when all spots are filled.  A $100 non refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
