At Heritage, we place a high value on strengthening parents and children and we’re committed to addressing the issues that are relevant to today’s families. It’s painful to see the breakdown of the home and sometimes the trauma of those events leave scars that exist for the rest of our lives. That is why we are so passionate about introducing people to the hope, joy, and redeeming power of Jesus Christ! He can restore broken marriages and bring parents and kids together in His love!
Pre-Marital Assistance

Prepare2b1– This six-week learning opportunity is for couples seeking to discern God’s will about getting married. These sessions are offered to couples of all ages and life stages. The focus is to grow in your relationship with God and with one another and, to see if a couple is ready to enter into the commitment of marriage.
Pre-Marriage Mentoring – Mature couples, trained in the Heart2Heart premarital model, are provided for those who have completed the Prepare2b1 class. These mentors help prepare couples for the realities and challenges of a Christian marriage.
Marriage Help
Marriage Mentoring – We believe even good relationships can get better, so we intentionally train and commission couples to come alongside of other couples for mentoring and practical help. Begin Again – This ministry is sponsored by Pathways and designed to reach out to couples in serious crisis or long-term dysfunction. The leadership is provided by mentor couples who have experienced a crisis in their own marriage and come through it successfully. With hearts of compassion and hope, these couples have a firm commitment to help others in their journey toward restoration and healing. Pathways Counseling Center – Heritage is blessed to have two professional counselors available (Joel and Eric Wharton) who offer a full range of services on a paid basis. Pathways is a professional counseling center in cooperation with Heritage. You can contact them at 614-818-4099 or at pathways@heritagecc.org.

We offer opportunities for parents to receive counsel and prayer with Bob Buchan, the Family Life Pastor.
