e4 is our primary equipping process for establishing the foundations of our faith at Heritage. It serves as an essential component of the comprehensive BUILD ministry of the church, and, by God’s grace, equips our leadership for the work of ministry (Eph. 4). We seek to give all e4 participants a comprehensive understanding of the most important elements of Christian faith and practice.

After running a pilot program of e4 in the 2008-09 ministry year, we have decided to open the program to all Participating Members of the church. Our hope is that all Participating Members of Heritage will go through the e4 program as a foundational element of their relationship with God.

Text • Context • Soul

e4 has three tracks that run concurrently: Text, Context & Soul. These three tracks constitute the whole of Christian faith and practice. Text takes you through the whole Bible with fresh understanding. Context builds a foundation for Christian life and understanding in the world. Soul brings you to God through the practice of spiritual disciplines.
