e4

Wednesday Evenings | 6:30-8:00 pm | Room 110

e4 is our the primary adult discipleship class at Heritage. It serves as an essential component of the BUILD ministry of the church, and, by God’s grace, equips us for the work of ministry (Eph. 4). We seek to give all e4 participants a comprehensive understanding of the most important elements of Christian faith and practice.

This year, we are offering e4: Through the Bible, a journey through the story of Scripture.  What is the Bible? Is it a book of rules, timeless truths and moral lessons? Above all, Jesus said the Bible was about Him. Come and see the story of the Bible, namely how the Creator God commits to unite heaven and earth through Jesus Christ. Learn the whole story as you never have before.  To register for the e4 program, please click here to navigate to the Discipleship Events page.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact April Walters  through e-mail, or you can reach us by phone, (614) 898-9412 x120.

Text

September 14 - November 16, 2010

The text track will equip you with a knowledge of the content of the Scriptures and the ability to exegete Scripture for yourself. It will immerse you in the Bible, and you will learn to see the world through the lens of Scripture.

Text Sessions

*Due to technical difficulties with recording, the audio for the Gospels session is taken from the 2009-2010 e4 program.

Context

January 4 - March 8, 2011

The context track will equip you with an understanding of basic theological doctrines and the ability to understand their unique position in the history of the Church, as well as give you a clear sense of your Christian context in the world.

Context Sessions

*We ran into some technical difficulties with the recording of this session, and the last 12 minutes of the first half are not available. Due to technical difficulties, many of the Context sessions are missing between 10 and 20 minutes of audio, generally in the middle of the file.

Soul

March 22 - May 24, 2011

The soul track will equip you with an understanding of how God forms us spiritually, the ability to practice spiritual disciplines, and offer a clear sense of how to behave Christianly in the world.
