Child Dedications - Oct 2/3, 2010, Jan 22/23, May 7/8, July 9/10, 2011
What is Child Dedication and why should you consider dedicating your child(ren) to the Lord? The truth taught in Deuteronomy 6:7 is that the parents are primarily responsible for guiding the spiritual development of their children. This is an important concept to fully understand and embrace. Whereas Sunday school has traditionally been looked to as the place where children learn about God, the Bible teaches us that children really need to learn primarily from their parents. A Child Dedication enables a parent to come before the Lord and church to publicly state this is their desire. Taking this step will help parents gain more confidence that they have a wonderful support structure for this most noble task. Once you have concluded that God has given YOU the challenging task of being the primary person responsible for your child’s spiritual development, then you are ready to take the next step of dedicating your child to the Lord.

HBA Homeschooling 2010-2011 - Fall 2010
HBA offers group classes and fellowship in a cooperative environment for homeschooling families. HBA is currently accepting applications for the Fall Semester for children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. AWANA* - Wed, Sept 1, 2010 - April 27, 2011, 6:30-8:00pm, Children’s Wing
AWANA is an international, well-recognized children’s program “whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him.” Ages 3 years - 6th grade participate in memorizing Bible verses, enjoying fun-filled Bible lessons, playing games, earning awards, and seeing God use them in mighty ways!
We need over 60 volunteers to help each Wednesday. If you are interested in helping please email Spank or Michelle Brown @ earl_brown@sbcglobal.net.
