Plan now to come ask them at Alpha—a 10 week practical exploration of the Christian faith where you can ask anything and where the claims of Christianity are investigated. Join us for 11 weeks of fun, food, discovery and discussion with others in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
Dinner is served with each class and childcare is provided for those who pre-register for it.

Weekend Alpha Retreat
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 03:39PM On Friday evening, November 7, and through the day on November 8th more than two dozen Alpha Course participants and leaders gathered to learn about and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. This weekend retreat, which is a regular part of the 10-week Alpha program, did not disappoint.
The weekend activities were exciting and varied—just as are the gifts of the Spirit. Participants enjoyed fellowship in games and small group discussions, learned through video teaching, and experienced group and individual prayer. The presence of the Holy Spirit was obvious in the individuals who made a commitment to Christ for the first time and in others who rededicated their lives to following Jesus.
While this Alpha program (the 8th at Heritage) will soon be drawing to a close, the next course will begin on January 27th. If you or someone you know might be interested in Alpha, please plan to join us on December 2nd for a preview session entitled “Why Christmas?”. The December 2nd program starts at 6:30 pm with a complete hot, home-cooked meal (a standard part of each Alpha meeting). Childcare will be available for those who pre-register. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 04:02PM Due to the power outage, the Kick-Off Alpha Dinner scheduled for Sept. 16 has had to be canceled. The start-up meeting of Alpha will be on Tuesday, Sept. 23. The first meeting isn’t a commitment—just an opportunity to come see if Alpha is right for you. Dinner is served at all classes. Hope to see you then! (Childcare is available—participants must pre-register for childcare.)

I know that it can be intimidating to sit in front of the camera, but you all did so very well. We hope to have the video done soon so that the whole church can hear about what an incredible ministry Alpha is!
