The Trinity

Equipper: Pavi

We dove right into the deep end last night.  I so appreciate the thoughtful and reflective interaction you all brought to our time together.  Not easy stuff to absorb, even less easy to integrate into our day-to-day lives.

Attached are notes for the session, plus questions.  Please continue to reflect on the material and the questions and post your thoughts for all of us to interact with.

Notes : The Trinity

Recommended Books

  1. Wayne Grudem: Systematic Theology A useful resource.  An introductory and fairly comprehensive - and readable - systematic theology.  We may not always follow Grudem everywhere he goes, but he’s an excellent starting point..
  2. Robert Letham : The Holy Trinity in Scripture, History, Theology & Worship A thorough - and sometimes difficult, but always profitable -  study of the doctrine of the Trinity.
  3. Peter Toon : Our Triune God An intermediate overview of the Trinity.
  4. William Young : The Shack Given the orthodox theological framework we’ve established, this is a good book to read with heart & discernment.
